Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resident Joyce Enix’s Success Story!

Joyce Enix admitted to Wurtland Nursing and Rehab after being involved in an automobile accident that left her with multiple fractures and many new found limitations in her daily living she would have to overcome. With weight bearing limitations and the mental struggle of adjusting to these difficult times, Joyce dug deep to regain strength and range of motion. Once weight bearing restrictions were lifted, she was able to progress to get back on her feet and ambulate 200 feet with a front wheeled walker! With the help from her physical therapist and her supportive husband who visited and encouraged her daily, she has been able to progress enough to discharge home with him where she continues to strive to get better and get back to her normal daily life. Congratulations to Joyce and her Care Team on their success!
